The internationally renowned designer gained valuable experience from producing his first, highly successful Jasper Conran at Wedgwood fine bone china range. These newly acquired skills were applied to wonderful effect in the creation of his Casual Collection – a 21st-century variation on traditional English earthenware.

Jasper Conran’s ceramic talents are clear in the soft colours he has chosen, and the pleasingly functional, fluid shapes with elegant handles.

Look closer and you will see how he has ingeniously achieved the effect of lighter and darker bands of colour by using highly glazed contours. Jasper Conran’s status as one of the world’s contemporary ceramic designers is assured.

You can wash this tableware by hand or in a dishwasher, warm plates and serving dishes in the oven to 100°C, safely use it in a microwave and put it in the freezer. The two golden rules are: take care when washing, stacking or taking out your Jasper Conran Casual ware not to scrape or knock one piece against another; and avoid extreme or sudden changes in temperature.
