Knife Wizard Commercial Electric Knife Sharpener KE280

The KE280 knife sharpener is a totally new concept in professional knife sharpening. It features a patented cushion contact system which not only produces edges sharper than when the knife was new but creates a polished finish, eliminating the need for honing.

There are 2 closed cell rubber covered wheels, each carrying endless abrasive belts and each side of the blade is sharpened independently. The cushion contact system produces a razor sharp and polished cutting edge which does not require honing.

During sharpening, knives are suported at the correct angle by the central guide.

The KE280 will sharpen virtually any knife – straight, curved, fluted, European and Japanese knives - to an as new or better standard. Whilst we cannot promise it will make you a better cook, having razor sharp knives for preparation and carving certainly helps.

Each KE280 is equipped with a pair of fine abrasive belts and is supplied with a spare set of fine abrasive belts. Once these have worn down, the belts can be turned around and the other edge used.
